About
Why must you know who we are? Is it not enough to feel the peppermint aura? Why do you hunger for knowledge you do not require?
Fine, we shall inform your ravenous mind.
The Bobist Collective of Peppermint Worshippers is a peppermint-worshipping religion. Our members engage in eating peppermints, practicing rituals, and reading Bobist and non-Bobist literature to perpetuate the values of authenticity, creativity, redemption, healing, and acceptance.
You may know us for the Mintauloid project: a trio of Bobist UTAU voicebanks you can download on the Mintauloid section of this very website. They are high-quality CV voicebanks that can sing in Japanese and English and they are free to use and make projects with as you wish.
We believe that together, we can create a better world that is accepting of all people, no matter what, and we believe we can do that through creativity.
To join our religion all you must do is feel the power of Bob and his peppermints in your heart and you shall be accepted spiritually into the realm of minty magic.
We are adamant about not making money off of this endeavor, as it is meant to be purely a religion, so everything we can offer for free is free. We have a Redbubble store, but we've not marked up the prices on the items at all so everyone can afford them! If you would like, you can add an optional donation when you download an ebook, USTs, MMD models, voicebanks, etc., but it is 100% OPTIONAL and we do not ever expect people to donate!

We are a religious group that worships but is NOT affiliated, sponsored, or connected in any way to Bob's Sweet Stripes or the Ferrara Candy Company, or any brand of mints for that matter.

FAQs
Is this a real religion?
That depends on your heart. If you feel Bobism is a real religion, it is. If you feel it is not, then it is not.
Who does the artwork?
We have quite a few artists who have done work for us. Lots of our art was done by artists like Lightshine799, JEXIIllustrations, and Taza Tajol, to name a few.
Can I make fanart?
Of course, darling. Anything in the realm of Bobism is yours to create as you wish. We also have a featured artwork section on the Mintauloid website, so you can browse others' fan artworks.
Can I sell fanmerch?
Yes, but please steer clear of any glow in the dark items. They are disturbing and harbour the Antibob. You can read other guidelines here.
I am _ religion, can I still be a Bobist?
As Bobism does not require worship, it is meant to be compatible with most other religions. If you are kind, accepting, and like peppermints, you can be a Bobist, but ultimately it's your call what you choose for your faith.
Is premarital sex allowed in Bobism?
Whatever happens between consenting adults in the privacy of their own home, none of our deities care and neither do we.
Can we use your deities' names in vain?
They don't really care, and to be honest, they would be flattered. "Oh my Bob", "Mintira Mintau", etc. are great things to add to your daily conversations.
Do you believe peppermint has magical/healing properties?
No, we just think it's delicious and smells good. It's not a substitute for any medical things. We do NOT support scammy essential oil companies!
Why don't you like glow in the dark things?
Mostly, we dislike glow in the dark things that are not clearly labeled as such. It is very disturbing to encounter a pair of glowing green eyes at midnight because the stupid plush you just bought didn't have a label on it. Also, GITD is tacky as fuck and holographic is always better.
Can I "ship" your characters?
Absolutely, we have no problem with that. Every person has their own Bobiverse.
Can I be in the religion if I don't like/am allergic to peppermints?
Well, this religion is based around peppermints, so you might not have a very good time, but if you feel Bobism in your heart you're a Bobist.
Can I cosplay Mintira even though I have both legs?
The last thing Bobism wants is to exclude anyone. Cosplay is not about appearance, it is about having fun. If you feel a connection to Mintira, or any of our deities, you should express that however you want!
Who even are you?
What are you, a cop? Respect our privacy to be blessed by Bob.
